Peanut Butter Cookies

One of my favorite types of cookies are peanut butter cookies as they always have that crunch to them and I also love peanut butter so my favouritething in a cookie. What could get better than that? Cookies are always a fun thing to make as they are fast and yet they taste good. Always a good thing to make for or with children and boys.
If you don't know what to make you can always make some cookies.
Peanut Butter Cookies:
Makes about 3 dozen

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup crunchy peanut butter or plain what ever you prefer
1 cup white sugar1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
I made mine half with chocolate chips and half without.
Directions

Cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in eggs.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into batter. Put batter in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll into 1 inch balls and put on baking sheets. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern. Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies begin to brown. Do not over-bake.

There are also many different things that you can put into peanut butter cookies... such as peanut butter chips, reese's pieces, reese cups, chocolate chips, crunchy peanut butter, coconut, oatmeal or you could always make chocolate cookies and put peanut butter chips in it :)

Enjoy!
